The short version
Your photos never leave your device. The site uses privacy-respecting analytics and may show ads served by Google. The rest of this page explains what those services do.
Photos and files
Every image you drop into the tool is decoded, cropped, resized and compressed inside your browser using the Canvas API and a Web Worker. No image data is transmitted to IGCOMPRESSOR or to any third party. There is no upload endpoint on this site. The exported files contain no metadata (EXIF, GPS, camera information).
If you drop a RAW file, the browser downloads a small open-source decoder script from a content delivery network. The script runs locally; your file is not sent anywhere.
The tool remembers your last chosen preset and settings in your browser's local storage so they are preselected next time. This data stays on your device and can be cleared by clearing site data.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and tool interactions (adding files, downloads and sharing) without cookies. These tool events include only the selected mode and/or file count. No image content or file names are sent in these events.
Advertising
Ads may be served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google and its partners, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of Google's personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and participating third-party vendors' personalised advertising at aboutads.info. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google requires consent for personalised ads and for cookies or local storage where legally required. Serving personalised ads in these regions requires a Google-certified consent management platform.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and protect the service. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to identify you.
Fonts
Fonts are hosted on IGCOMPRESSOR and served with the site. Loading them does not require a request to Google Fonts.
Your rights
Because the site does not collect personal data about you beyond the above, there is nothing for you to access, correct or delete on our side. For advertising data, use the Google links above. Questions: contact page.
Changes
This policy changes when the site does. The date at the top is updated with every change.
