Make a landscape set without skipping the framing checks

Start with 1920 by 1080 exports and inspect each source. A common 16:9 shape can suit a series, but it will crop photographs with different proportions.

Choose a landscape batch for its actual viewing role

A landscape image set may be used in a website gallery, presentation or video-related artwork workflow. This preset starts at 1920 by 1080 pixels, a 16:9 example. The dimensions are an export choice, not a universal requirement for every site or service. Check the intended image slot, file limit and display crop before preparing the whole set.

Exact size crops an input whose proportions differ. A tall building photo can lose the roof and foreground, while a wider panorama can lose its edges. If that content matters, use Fit within and retain the original ratio instead. This tool does not add letterboxing, extend a sky or place a portrait photo on a decorative landscape background. Keep a separate source set and make a delivery batch only from images that can support the required composition.

Inspect horizons and the top and bottom of each frame

Select each thumbnail and check the preview before downloading. Adjust the available crop position to preserve the useful content. A centered starting frame may cut a head, remove a product label or place a horizon awkwardly. Crop controls can move the source rectangle, but they cannot rotate a tilted horizon or correct a leaning building. Make those edits in the source application if needed.

The group shares output dimensions and encoding choices, while framing can be reviewed image by image. Pay particular attention to portraits converted into a wide layout. There may be no crop that retains both a person's head and the object they are holding. Use another photograph or choose a different format for that item. A consistent shape is helpful only when it preserves the information that viewers need from the image.

Compare large outputs and the actual destination preview

The starting export is JPEG at 90% quality with Light sharpening. A small source can be enlarged by Exact size, but a 1920-pixel output label does not prove the image contains that much original detail. Inspect faces, textured surfaces and text in the final file. Turn sharpening down if it exaggerates noise or makes edges look outlined.

Download a representative photo and view it in the actual presentation, page or upload draft. The receiving system may resize or crop again. Check both the small preview and any expanded display. If a strict byte cap is needed, apply the real requirement and inspect the resulting quality and dimensions rather than choosing an arbitrary target for every image. Download reviewed results individually or as a ZIP created locally. Batches support up to 50 inputs, subject to the 80 MB per-file limit and available device resources. The tool does not combine the images into a video or slideshow.

Use a tall subject as the first composition test

A portrait of a person beside a building is a useful difficult sample for a wide batch. Check whether the 16:9 crop can retain the head, useful body context and the building feature you want to show. If it cannot, select another source rather than approving a wide frame that changes the point of the picture. Then inspect a panorama to see which side details are removed. These tests expose the limits of shared proportions before many files are processed. Keep the original ratios available for gallery uses that do not require every photograph to occupy the same landscape box.

Questions people ask

Can this batch create a video slideshow?

No. It exports separate still image files and an optional ZIP. Use a video or presentation editor to arrange them into a slideshow.

Will every photo keep its entire frame at 16:9?

Only if its source ratio matches. Exact size crops different ratios. Use Fit within to keep the complete source with its original shape.

Can the crop control straighten a horizon?

No. It repositions the crop rectangle. Rotate or correct the source in an editor before exporting when the horizon needs adjustment.
