Prepare a readable poster for WhatsApp Status

A printed flyer often contains more information than a Status viewer can read comfortably. A full address, several logos, long terms, and small contact details may all look clear in a large design window but become tiny on a phone. Decide what the viewer must understand immediately, then simplify the source design before compressing it.

This page exports our 1080×1920 pixel vertical JPEG. A source with another shape will be cropped to fill it, so do not drop a wide flyer into the tool and assume every word will remain. Make a vertical version in your design application if the full layout matters. The compressor does not rearrange text, move logos, or add the empty background needed to preserve a differently shaped poster.

Keep the main message and any necessary action away from the top and bottom boundaries. WhatsApp's interface can occupy parts of the screen, and actual framing should be checked in the app. The export size is a preparation choice, not a guarantee of an unobstructed area. Inspect the Status preview before sharing, especially when a date, location, or price sits near an edge.

Start with a clean export from the editable design. Screenshots of an old Status or a forwarded flyer can already contain compression damage and unhelpful margins. Open the source here, position the crop, and inspect the smallest text that a viewer genuinely needs. If it cannot be read at phone size, change the design rather than only changing compression quality.

1. Export a finished vertical poster from your design app.
2. Open it with the Status preset selected and check the whole crop.
3. Compare headline edges, small text, logos, and any photograph.
4. Download and open the saved JPEG at normal phone size.
5. Inspect the complete preview in WhatsApp before posting the Status.

A graphic with flat colour and type may also deserve a PNG comparison in Custom mode. The preset here exports JPEG; selecting a different platform preset is not a way to guarantee a different format. Choose the format explicitly when you compare. Neither format can force WhatsApp to display the source without its own processing.

A Status poster should not be the only place essential information exists. Put a clear description or supporting message where the intended audience can read it comfortably. If the poster promotes an event or product, make sure the date, availability, and contact method still match your current information. An attractive older flyer can be misleading when forwarded after its details change.

Keep the editable design and the publishing copy separate. If you need a new date or price, edit the source instead of painting over a compressed JPEG. When a poster contains several separate messages, a short sequence of focused designs may be easier to use than one dense frame. This tool exports still images; it does not create a video or automatically divide a poster into slides.

Do not assume chat-photo quality controls apply identically to Status. WhatsApp's HD documentation describes chat media and notes that HD is not currently available for Status or profile pictures.
